One Part Hippie Chic

Wearing this outfit reminded me of my old hippie/boho self. I used to wear a buck-load of feathers, fringed anything and everything, a pile of bracelets/anklets, hippie headbands, rings, and a whole lotta floral dresses & tops.

Not that I regret my hippie past, in fact, I super love it! That is why I still incorporate it into my everyday style/go back to it from time to time. The Beef ain’t one part hippie chic and two parts rockstar for nothing! ;)

Shout out to Kara Bodegon! Look I’m using your gift! Hehehe!

It’s my first time to sport the ever trendy flower crown! Yay or nay? Personally, I think its cute. :3 The top and the flower crown are both from Copper by the way! :) I am in looooovee with this top! Too pretty!

I bought these babies from the Divisoria for only 250 pesos I think? How awesome right?! I seriously love bargain buys (lover of anything on sale hollah)! I love that the heels on this pair aren’t so high, because although I have tried, I am still not an expert in wearing high heels! :p

So that was my outfit for Day 14! :)
Hope you’ve been following me on Candymag.com for 31 Days of Style! Keep followin’ the Beef for more beefy sartorial choices. ;)

Ask The Beef (5.22.13)

shininglikearainbow: Aww! Thanks sooooo much love <3 Hehe everyone loves those boots ey? (Wouldn’t blame you though, they could pass off as Doc Martens!) :) I just purchased them from SM Department store and at a super affordable price! Go find ‘em before stocks run out. :)
joyceocampo-cena: Huhu! <3 <3 Thanks for loving the beef Joyce! I feel we’d be good friends since we like the same things…and women (MILEY 4EVS)! :)
Anonymous #1: Hmmm! Off the top of my head… a man after God’s own heart, a family man, as kind-hearted as my main man - my Dad, a man with a plan, and plus points if he’s effortlessly stylish. :)) SNACKS! (I said man wayyy too much! lol)
chasingfleurs: Love you too Maica :* And yes! Hope to meet you soon! :)
Anonymous #2: Hohoho, I get that a lot! I think it’s our chubby cheeks ;) HAHA! Thanks!
Hayy! Even though I’m battling a migrane + my right hand is seriously ouchie (so hard to blog with one hand ahuhu), you guys never fail to make my day. :)

Feel The Vibe!
Last April 10, I traveled to the north for a magazine feature! And now that it’s finally out, I wanna share it with all of you! :)

It was for Trinoma’s Vibe Magazine! They only come out with 2 issues per year so I was pretty stoked about being in it.

Two bloggers were to be featured for their travel isssue, so my partner in crime for the day was Miko Carreon of www.mikocarreon.com! Here we are pre-Toni & Guy talking about Lookbook, Tumblr, and Savory chicken. Haha! :)

I love that Miko was super friendly! He was even giving me tips for/supporting my blog! Hehe! Here he is checking out The Beef About Gela while Jeff and Erika decided to photo bomb. :p

Believe me when I say that it’s definitely a small world after all! If you’ve been following me since last year you’d know who Jeff is and it was sooo awesome bumping into him since he’s rarely in the south. He styled the cover story for this issue. Isn’t he so stylish? :)

Thanks so much Toni & Guy for pimpin’ us up! ;) Stole this “gangstah pose” photo from Miko’s Instagram account. We’ve been gangstah posin’ together ever since! Haha!

For our feature, we were to come up with 2 looks (beach attire and hiking attire) using items from Regatta, Quicksilver, Ice Watch, and Cushe.

You know, I was taking my time picking out items and before I knew it Miko was already done picking out ALL his items. I seriously have to remind myself sometimes that time waits for nobody. :)) Voila! Here are the outfits we came up with!

I wanted to take everything home! Especially these Cushe tribal printed flats, seriouslllyyy comfy you guys (and seriously cute too)!

Thank you again Ms. Cutey Dainty one for getting us for this issue! ;)

After the shoot I crossed over to SM (…something I forgot what it’s called hoho) with my good college buddy MJ! :) We promised each other we’d meet up when I’d happen to be in the northern area (haha am I making it seem like I live soooo far awaayyy?).

We decided to visit Bikini Bottom (and shop hihi) because we’re tight with Spongebob and Patrick like that. Plus, the Krabby patties were pretty great! ;)

Sup Squidward?

To cap off the day, we all met up at Toast Box Trinoma for some dinner grub. Miko, I just realized…we’re both wearing plaid! :))

To sum it all up, I had a super busy but fun day! :) It was so awesome to meet new friends and reunite with old ones. I also enjoyed being a northern girl for a day! I should visit the north more often, I miss my college homies (plus there’s so much stores to shop in heheheh).
Hope you can grab a copy of Trinoma Vibe Magazine! :)
