Warning! Extremely Girly Post Up Ahead!
I’ve already told y’all about how my NYX craze started last year, well I am proud to tell you, I have not relapsed at all! Haha! Instead, I’ve been promoting the NYX craze to all my homies! And how can anyone resist the NYX goodness! It’s like, MAC cosmetics (ish) branded for less ;) And I’m a sucker for “for less” thangs.
I’m not really a make-up kind of girl, lip anything and eyelash curler and I’m good to go! But for days that need extra presentableness (is there such a thing haha) add bb cream or concealer to the regimen and I can rule the wooorrllld! (Of course this is me exaggerating)
BUT! Ever since I got signed on to do Word-Up, I had to learn how to do the whole shebang of full fledged, whole face, eyes to lips makeup. Hence, the search for affordable (but awesome) makeup began. And upon internet research, NYX seemed to fit all the qualities I have been searching for! Quality, check! Price, check, check, and CHECK!
ANYWAYS NOT THE POINT OF THIS POST! Haha! Fast forward to today, I now posses a mini collection of NYX lippies and have decided to check out their other products as well!
I’m not NYX crazaaay again, but since my best friend Phoebe started to sell NYX at her online shop Fancieta, I decided to support the cause for her first batch and purchase 3 things (the blush and other lippies are from Purpektion Shop).
Told ya! Pretty basic stuff! It’s like, I’m lazy to put on anything but I still wanna look decent makeup basics. Nyx Rogue Cream Blush in Glow (hmmm kind of oily that its literally sweating when I opened it, hoping its awesome), Nyx Eyebrow Shaper Pencil (for y’all who don’t like filling in your brows and that whole process but still want your brows to look presentable), L.A. Girl (which I believe is under the same manufacturer as Nyx) Pro Conceal HD concealer, and Nyx Round Lipstick in Heredes (aka I finally found my perfect your lips but better lipstick huhuhu).
Also bought these Nyx Round Lipglosses, Lipcream and Lipsticks from Purpektion Shop (a tad pricier than Fancieta but my Mum needed them asap so, no choice bro!) for my Mum, I can’t wait to check them out! I don’t like lipgloss so, rah dunno. Maybe baby! Nyx will change me!
Anyways, I feel so girly right now! Why Nyx why! Haha! Hope you guys get to try their stuff out soon (or for the guys out there, buy for your girlfriends hihi), and for the record that ain’t no fluffy pink rug, that’s our Pillow Pet, Polly the Pig! :)

One of my 2011 obsessions guilty pleasures - NYX LIPSTICKS! It all started with my carpoolmate Kae telling me about her lipstick adventures with Mac lipsticks and how each shade gave her a different persona of sorts, and of course, being the curious beef that I am (and I’ve been wanting to try out lipsticks), I searched for a cheaper alternative (I’m also a budget savvy beef haha), and ALAS I stumbled upon Nyx Lipsticks! Ever since then, I sort of have a mini collection of my own (ordering every chance I get, thank goodness my Nyx phase is over…for now haha) and have turned my friends, classmates, relatives, and even my officemates to using Nyx lipsticks because they’re creamy, pigmented, and freakin’ affordable! How can you not? :)

Happy New Year milads! I’ll greet y’all now because I know we’ll all be jolly and new with our family as the clock strikes 12!
I’m really looking forward to 2012, I mean 2011 was like hinting at the awesomeness 2012 will bring! Lets welcome the New Year with positive vibes and hopeful hearts and be thankful for the lives we continue to live each and everyday! Here’s some photos from the makeup shoot we had last month and was one of the many awesome things that happened this 2011 (Graduation! Thesis Good times! Legit Job! Red Hair HAHA! New Friends! Opportunities! Summers! Word Up! Etc!).
I tried recalling all the blessings and life changing events that happened to me this year last night, and can I just say, if we really learn to look, we’ll see how blessed we are in our own special ways, even through the little things.
